TOKYO - Crafted using traditional techniques by Tomohiro Sadakiyo and designed by Yuka Iinuma, the brand name ‘hum’ originates from ‘humming’, in hopes of residing in people’s memory like the spontaneous sound of humming. Much of their inspiration draws from history and anthropology and the relationship between societal structures and material culture. Their approach to design is through the making itself, experimenting with new techniques before creating jewelery that harnesses each unique process.
